Canton Tower

    Canton Tower (English: Canton Tower), also known as Guangzhou new TV Tower and nicknamed xiaomanyao, is located near Chigang tower in Haizhu District (Yizhou Island), Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, 125 meters away from the South Bank of the Pearl River and across the river from Pearl River New Town, Huacheng square and Haixinsha island. The main body of Guangzhou tower is 454m high, the antenna mast is 146m high and the total height is 600m. It is the tallest tower in China and a national AAAA tourist attraction.

    Guangzhou tower is a landmark project in Guangzhou. The TV tower can resist magnitude 8 earthquake and magnitude 12 typhoon, and the design service life is more than 100 years. "Spider man plank road" is set 168 ~ 334.4 meters away from the body of Guangzhou tower, which is the highest and longest aerial walking ladder in the world. There is a revolving restaurant 422.8 meters away from the tower, which is the highest revolving restaurant in the world. A Ferris wheel is set 450 ~ 454 meters from the top of the tower, which is the highest Ferris wheel in the world. At 455 ~ 485 meters from the antenna mast, there is a "extreme speed cloud" downhill amusement project, which is the highest vertical downhill amusement project in the world.

    Guangzhou tower is subordinate to Guangzhou urban investment group. It is constructed by Guangzhou Construction Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Construction Engineering Group. It has a total construction area of 114054 square meters. It was completed in September 2009, officially opened to the outside world on September 30, 2010, and officially sold tickets to receive tourists on October 1, 2010. Guangzhou tower has five functional areas and a variety of amusement facilities, including outdoor viewing platform, Ferris wheel, high-speed cloud amusement project, two sightseeing halls, suspended corridors, sky ladders, 4D and 3D dynamic cinemas, Chinese and Western cuisine, exhibition facilities, shopping malls and popular science exhibition halls.
